Leads display settings
The leads list works out of the box, but you can tailor how it looks and behaves to the way your team works — without any code changes. You decide how the responsible person is shown, how dense the rows are, what happens when someone clicks a lead, and much more. You can even give different roles different views, and let each person keep their own.
Two pages: Display and Components
The leads settings live on two separate pages, on purpose:
- List display & behaviour (
/admin/tsync_leads_settings) — everything about how the list looks and behaves: assignee display, density, the click behaviour, per-role views, and so on. You can hand this page to a non-admin (for example a team lead) with the List display & behaviour permission. - Components (
/admin/tsync_leads_settings/components) — admin only. Two feature switches that change how the module works: the Lead naming model and the Fast Contract button. These stay admin-only, so someone with only the Display permission can never change them.
The Display page shows a small pointer card linking across to Components. Both pages sit under the same Leads setup group, alongside BX Leads, BX Lead Scoring and BX allocation rules (the BX lead view's own settings).
Open it
Go to Setup → Leads → List display & behaviour (/admin/tsync_leads_settings). It sits next to the other
leads tools — Sources, Statuses, the web-to-lead form and E-mail integration.
Every option here has a safe default that matches today's behaviour, so a fresh install looks exactly as before until you change something. Click Save and the list picks up your changes immediately.
Quick presets
At the top, Quick presets apply a ready-made look in one click — then you fine-tune anything below.
| Preset | Best for |
|---|---|
| Standard | A balanced, everyday view. |
| Compact | Fitting more leads on screen (tight rows, contact on hover, mini-card on). |
| Manager | Avatar + name, unassigned rows highlighted, overdue flagged after 14 days. |
| Operator / Call-center | Compact rows, actions always visible, phone/e-mail shown, overdue after 3 days. |
| Omnichannel | Avatar + name, overdue after 7 days, mini-card on. |
A preset just sets the display options below all at once — nothing you can't still adjust by hand afterwards.
How each row looks
These control the appearance of each row of the list.
| Option | Choices | What it does |
|---|---|---|
| Assigned person | Avatar only / Avatar + name / Name only | How the responsible staff member appears. Choose Avatar + name or Name only to read the owner's name right in the row instead of only on hover. |
| Unassigned leads | Normal / Badge / Highlight row | Make leads with no owner stand out — an "Unassigned" badge or a highlighted row — so none slips through. |
| List density | Standard / Compact / Comfortable | Tighter or roomier rows. Compact fits more on screen; Comfortable is easier to scan. |
| Row actions | On hover / Always | Whether the view / edit / delete links on each row appear only on hover or stay visible. |
| Phone & e-mail | Always shown / On hover / Hidden | Whether the phone and e-mail columns are always shown, revealed on hover, or hidden (a speed-vs-privacy balance). |
| Overdue follow-up | Off, or after N days | Flag leads with no contact in the last N days (or never contacted) as a red row marker or a badge on the name, so neglected leads are easy to spot. Set the number of days to 0 to turn it off. |
Line up each column
You can set the text alignment — left, centre or right — for each column of the leads list, to taste. Left is the default, so nothing changes until you pick a different alignment for a column.
The hover mini-card
Turn on the hover mini-card and a small floating card of quick info appears when you point at a lead — name, company, status, source, assignee, phone, e-mail and last contact — without opening the lead. You choose where it triggers: on the lead name, on the assignee, on both, or off. Great for a fast glance while scanning the list.
The Kanban card (compact)
Prefer the board view? Turn on Kanban card (compact) to make the lead cards on the Kanban board denser. The compact card keeps the title, value and created date but hides the source and last contact, and moves the 🔥/🟡/❄️ temperature badge into the top corner — so more cards fit in each column at a glance. The normal card is unchanged when this is off.
Choose what shows on the Kanban card
Configurare → Lead-uri → Cartelă Kanban lets you decide which fields appear on the board card and in what order — no development request needed. The screen has two tabs, each with a live preview:
- Edit card — the card as it sits on the board. Tick the fields you want and arrange them with the arrows. Fields are grouped into Header (beside the lead name), Left column, Right column and Footer (full width). The lead name can't be hidden — it is the card and its click target.
- Edit expanded card — the detail drawer that opens when you click the ⤢ icon on a card. Same idea: tick and arrange the fields that show there.
The assignee is two separate fields — Assignee (avatar) and Assignee (name) — so you can show the photo only (the default), the name only, or both. The expanded card also offers commercial extras that ship off: assignee, contact person, source, lead value, last contact and tags — turn on whatever your team needs.
Everything ships exactly as before: turn nothing on and the card and its drawer look identical to today. Save applies both tabs; Back to default returns both cards to the shipped layout.
How the Kanban board scrolls
Kanban board scrolling (Configurare → Lead-uri) lets each client pick how the board scrolls vertically:
- Per-column scroll (default) — each column scrolls on its own; cards load as you scroll a column and as you scroll the browser page.
- Whole page — columns grow with their content and the whole browser page scrolls; cards load as you scroll.
Either way, cards now load as you scroll (no more hunting for a "Load more" button), and the board shows a single horizontal scrollbar instead of two.
Different views for different roles
The Per-role display section lets you give each staff role its own view: pick a preset (Standard / Compact / Manager / Operator / Omnichannel) for a role, or leave it on Use the global view to follow the general settings above. So your operators can see a Compact, action-heavy list while your managers see the Manager view — all from the same install. A role you don't set simply follows the global settings.
Make the list mobile-friendly
Turn on Small screens and the list auto-compacts on laptops and tablets: tighter rows, smaller avatars, the inline name and contact details tuck away, and the row actions shrink — so the list stays usable on a narrow screen. On a big monitor nothing changes. (Which columns show is still each person's own choice via the Columns control on the list.)
What happens when you click a lead
The When a lead is opened setting decides what happens when someone clicks a lead name in the list:
| Choice | What happens |
|---|---|
| Quick modal (default) | The lead opens in a pop-up window over the list. |
| Side drawer | The lead slides in from the right as a full-height panel, so the list stays visible behind it. |
| Full page | The lead opens as its own full page. |
| New browser tab | The lead opens in a new tab, leaving your list exactly where it was. |
Pick whatever matches how your team works — for example a side drawer keeps context while you glance at a lead, while new tab suits people who juggle several leads at once.
Let each person keep their own view
The Per-user preferences setting decides who controls the density:
- Admin forces the global view (default) — everyone sees the settings you chose here.
- Each user keeps their own density — a small density picker (Standard / Compact / Comfortable) appears on the leads toolbar, and each person's choice is remembered for them across sessions, without affecting anyone else.
This builds on the per-user Columns control on the list, so a user can shape both the row density and which columns they see — while you still set the baseline for everyone.
Arrange your columns
When per-user preferences are on, the leads list shows an "Organize columns" button. Click it to enter arrange mode: drag a column header to reorder the columns, and drag a column's edge to make it wider or narrower. Click Save to keep your layout — it's remembered for you personally and survives reloading the page and logging out and back in. This works alongside the per-user Columns show/hide control, so you shape the order, the width and which columns you see.
Simplify the New-lead form
You can simplify the New lead form by hiding the optional fields you don't use. On the Display & behaviour page, New-lead form fields lets you untick the optional fields — title, website, phone, value, company, address, city, state, zip, country, language, description and tags — so they no longer appear on the form. The essentials — name, source, status and assignee — are always shown.
The pipeline step on the New-lead form
On the New lead form a pipeline (funnel) selector appears above the status. The status list stays disabled until you pick a pipeline; once you do, it filters down to just that pipeline's stages and selects the first stage for you — so you can't accidentally set a stage that doesn't belong to the chosen pipeline. It only appears when your sales pipelines are set up.
Highlight fresh vs stagnating leads
At the bottom of the Display page, the Stage-stagnation temperature card adds a temperature badge to leads based on how long a lead has been sitting in its current stage:
- Switch on Show the temperature badge.
- For each pipeline stage, set Hot ≤ (min) and Cold > (min) in minutes. A lead newer than the Hot threshold reads as fresh 🔥; one older than the Cold threshold reads as stagnating ❄️; anything in between is neutral 🟡.
This lets you catch leads going cold before they're lost. It needs your sales pipelines to be active, because the badge reads the stage-change history the pipeline records.
Show each person only their own totals
Normally the totals bar (the KPI figures above the list) and the kanban stage sums count everyone's leads. You can restrict this so each user sees only their own totals: turn on Restrict totals to own leads, then grant the View global lead totals permission to the roles that should still see company-wide totals (managers, C-level). Everyone else — for example sales agents — then sees only their own totals. It's off by default, so nothing changes until you switch it on.
Control who can win or lose a lead
You can control who may move a lead into a Won or a Lost final stage. When the restriction is switched on, only staff granted the Move leads to Won / Move leads to Lost permission may drag or move a lead into a winning or losing stage — and it's enforced everywhere a lead's stage can change: the list, the kanban board and the BX lead view.
You can also require a reason when marking a lead as Lost: with that on, a lead can't be moved to Lost until the person types a short reason, which is saved as a note on the lead.
Both are opt-in and off by default.
Components (admin only)
The Components page (/admin/tsync_leads_settings/components) holds two switches that change how the Leads
module works. It is admin-only — a user with just the Display permission can never change these, even by
opening the page.
- Lead naming model — decides what a lead's name means:
- Contact person (default) — the lead name is the person you're talking to.
- Deal / transaction name — the lead name is the deal itself (e.g. "Kitchen renovation — Ionescu"), and the actual contact person is captured separately in a "Contact person" block on the lead. This matches how amoCRM-style pipelines are organised, so imported leads keep their deal names and still have a real person attached when you convert them to a client.
- Fast Contract — turns on an "Issue contract" button on the lead card, letting authorized staff issue an internal contract straight from a lead. Off by default. See Fast Contract for the full flow.
Who can change these settings
By default the Display page is administrators-only. On the Leads row of the role settings you can grant three separate permissions to a role:
| Permission | What it grants |
|---|---|
| List display & behaviour | Opens and changes the Display page (/admin/tsync_leads_settings) without full admin rights. |
| Create web-to-lead forms | Lets the role build and edit the public lead-capture forms. |
| View own leads only | Restricts the member to only the leads assigned to them — useful when a staff member should not see the whole leads list. |
| View global lead totals | With Restrict totals to own leads switched on, lets the role still see the company-wide totals bar and kanban sums instead of only their own. |
| Move leads to Won | Lets the role move a lead into a winning (Won) final stage, when that restriction is switched on. |
| Move leads to Lost | Lets the role move a lead into a losing (Lost) final stage, when that restriction is switched on. |
None of these changes who can open the Components page — that stays admin-only. And unless you use View own leads only, the leads list itself stays open to every staff member as before.
