Teams
Teams let you group staff into named teams — a sales team, a support squad, a project crew — each with an optional team lead and a list of members. It's a simple, reusable way to organise people alongside your departments and branches.
Open it
Setup → Teams, or /admin/tsync_teams. It's admin-facing (you need the staff-management permission).
Create a team
Click New team, give it a name (and an optional short code), pick a team lead if there is one, and save. You can tie a team to a branch or department if that helps you keep things organised, and mark it active or not.
Add and remove members
Open a team and, in the Members panel, pick a staff member and click Add — repeat for everyone on the team. Each member has a small remove button. A person can be on more than one team.
Where teams are used
A team is a reusable building block: other parts of TSync can point at a team instead of listing people one by one. For example, File Hub can grant folder access to a whole team as one of its access options, so when someone joins or leaves the team their access follows automatically.
Good to know
- Teams sit alongside departments and branches — they don't replace them. Use whichever fits: a department is the org-chart home, a branch is a location/operational unit, a team is a working group that can cut across both.
- Deleting a team removes the team and its membership list; it never deletes the staff themselves.
