Running a business means asking the same questions over and over. Are we doing well this month? Is anything about to go wrong? Can I trust these figures?

The Business Intelligence layer in TSync answers exactly those questions. It quietly watches over your data and turns it into a few clear signals you can read at a glance — a health score, early warnings, and numbers you can rely on.

Think of it as a co-pilot that keeps an eye on the instruments while you fly the plane. It does not make decisions for you, and there is no "AI" guessing in the background. Every figure it shows comes from your real data, calculated in a way that is documented and consistent — so you stay in control.

🩺 Understand the health of my business at a glance

The headline feature is a business health score from 0 to 100. It blends many signals — your finances, your stock, your data quality, and whether anything has drifted unexpectedly — into a single number you can read in a second.

A high score means things look healthy. A lower score means it's worth a closer look, and the screen tells you why the score dropped (for example "cash is below the level you set" or "one currency now makes up too much of what you're owed"). You're never left guessing.

Open it from Intelligence → Business Monitor in the admin menu. You'll see the score, the reasons behind it, the most important issues right now, and a trend chart so you can tell whether things are getting better or worse over time.

🔔 Get early warnings before small problems grow

TSync watches your key business numbers in the background and raises an alert when something crosses a line you care about — cash dropping too low, profit margin shrinking, money owed to you piling up, and so on.

You decide what "too low" or "too high" means for each number. When a number breaks the rule, an alert appears; when it recovers, the alert clears itself.

You can also choose how you want to be told:

  • In-app — a notification inside TSync.
  • Email — sent to the people who need to know.
  • Webhook — pushed to another tool you already use (for example a team chat), if your administrator sets that up.

Set up your alert channels under Intelligence → Alert Channels, then pick which alerts go where. That way the right person hears about the right problem, fast.

✅ Trust the numbers you're shown

A figure is only useful if you believe it. The Business Intelligence layer is built around that idea:

  • Every important number has one clear, written definition. "Profit", "money owed to you", "inventory value" — each is calculated the same way every time, so two people looking at the same screen always see the same thing.
  • Numbers carry their history. Most figures come with a trend, so you can see not just where you are today but where you've been.
  • TSync cross-checks itself. It runs regular consistency checks behind the scenes — for example, comparing two different ways of valuing your stock and flagging it if they drift too far apart. If something doesn't add up, you find out instead of quietly trusting a wrong number.

🧹 Spot messy data before it causes trouble

Reports are only as good as the data underneath them. TSync runs automatic data- quality checks that look for the usual culprits: duplicate records, information that's gone stale, missing details, and entries that point at something that no longer exists.

The results are shown as a simple data-quality score with a list of what was found, so your team can tidy things up. Cleaner data means reports you can act on with confidence.

📈 Look ahead (carefully)

TSync includes tools that study your past numbers — how they trend, whether they swing around, whether there's a weekly rhythm — to help you think about what might come next. These are exploratory, "what-if" style tools, clearly labelled as such, and they always explain how they reached a figure. They are there to support your judgement, never to replace it.

⚙️ (Optional) Add a dedicated analytics engine

The heavier forecasting and statistical tools can run on a separate, optional analytics engine — a small service you install only if you want capabilities like longer-range forecasting, anomaly detection or large-dataset analysis. You do not need it to use TSync. Everything above works without it; the engine simply adds extra horsepower for the "look ahead" tools.

Open Intelligence Engine from the admin menu to see its dashboard:

  • Engine status at a glance. A clear badge tells you exactly where things stand — Not configured (no engine set up — perfectly normal, not an error), Online, Degraded (responding slowly), Offline, or Authentication failed (the access key was rejected). You'll also see its response time and version when it's connected.
  • A work queue. When the engine is in use, jobs (a forecast, an anomaly scan…) are processed in the background. The Queue page lists recent jobs with their status, and the dashboard shows how much work went through in the last 24 hours.
  • Settings. Your administrator points TSync at the engine here (its address and access key) and chooses which advanced features are switched on. Until an address is filled in, the status simply reads Not configured — again, not a problem, just "not set up yet".

If you never install the engine, this screen will sit quietly at "Not configured", and the rest of Business Intelligence carries on exactly as described above.

Where to find it in the app

Everything lives under the Intelligence section of the admin menu. The pages you'll use most often:

If a page shows little or no data, that's usually a sign the relevant part of your business hasn't been set up or used yet — not an error. As you work in TSync day to day, these screens fill in on their own.

Good to know

  • It runs by itself. TSync refreshes these numbers on a schedule in the background, so the dashboards stay current without you doing anything. (This relies on the scheduled task being set up — see Set up the cron job.)
  • You set the rules. The thresholds that trigger alerts, and what counts as healthy, are yours to adjust. Sensible defaults are there from day one.
  • No decisions are made for you. This layer informs and warns — it never moves money, changes records, or acts on its own. You always have the final say.
  • Available in your language. Like the rest of TSync, the screens are available in English, Romanian and Russian.
