Dashboard
The dashboard is the first screen you see after you log in — your at-a-glance picture of the business. It's a board of tiles (widgets): leads, money owed to you, sales versus target, recent activity and your own agenda. You only see the tiles your permissions allow, and money is always shown honestly — if there's no exchange rate for a currency on a day, TSync tells you instead of inventing one.
Open it
Click Dashboard at the top of the sidebar (it's also where TSync lands you right after login).
Choose your display currency
At the top of the dashboard there's a currency selector. Pick the currency you want to read the numbers in, and the money tiles convert every amount into it using the real published exchange rates. Your choice is remembered for you personally, so a colleague can keep the board in a different currency. If an amount can't be converted because a rate is missing for that day, TSync flags it as rates incomplete and shows the raw amount — it never pretends the conversion happened.
Leads Overview — grouped by pipeline
When you use the Pipeline Engine, the Leads Overview tile shows one card per pipeline (Sales, Presale, Support…), busiest first, with the pipeline's total lead count.
- Each stage is a click-to-filter row — the stage name, its live lead count and a proportional bar in the real stage colour. Click a stage to jump straight to that pipeline and stage in the leads list.
- Won and lost stages are marked, and each pipeline shows a conversion % (won ÷ total) when it has a winning stage. Pipelines with no leads are hidden.
If you don't use pipelines, this tile falls back to the classic leads doughnut chart — nothing changes for a single-pipeline setup.
Money owed to you — receivables aging
The receivables (AR) aging tile answers "how much are customers late paying, and by how long?". It totals the outstanding amount on overdue invoices (unpaid or partly paid, past their due date) and sorts it into age buckets:
| Bucket | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 1–30 | Up to a month overdue |
| 31–60 | One to two months overdue |
| 61–90 | Two to three months overdue |
| 90+ | More than three months overdue |
Each bucket is a bar linking to the matching overdue invoices, so you can chase the oldest debt first. Amounts are converted to your display currency using real rates; any invoice in a currency with no rate for the day is listed separately in a rates incomplete note (with its original amount) — never folded in as if the rate were 1:1.
This tile covers every period. The finance panel above it carries its own year and currency selectors and answers for the year you picked; the aging tile answers for all time. Two figures that look like the same question can therefore disagree, and both be right — the tile now says so under its title.
Weighted pipeline value
This is the money side of your leads. For each pipeline, the tile adds up the value of the open deals and weights each one by how likely that stage is to close — an early stage counts for a little, a stage near signing counts for most of its value. You see the weighted total (a realistic forecast) next to the raw open total. Finished stages (won, lost, cancelled) are left out, and if your leads have no values set yet, the tile says so. It appears when the Pipeline Engine is live.
Sales target vs actual
This compact tile tracks this month's invoiced total against a target. The target is either the figure your administrator set, or — if none is set — an automatic benchmark based on your average of the last three months, so it's useful out of the box. A pace marker makes it time-aware: it knows what day of the month it is, so "on track" or "behind pace" reflects where you should be by today, not just by month-end. The progress shows as a ring gauge — green when you're on track, amber when you're behind.
Finance overview
The finance overview tile shows the status mix of your invoices, estimates and proposals — how many are draft, sent, paid, and so on — as counts, percentages and a small distribution bar per section, so you can read the health of each document type at a glance.
Recent activity (administrators)
Administrators get a recent-activity feed — a single stream of what's been happening across the system (who did what, to which record, and when), pulled from the activity log with a link to the full log. Because it spans everything, it's admin-only.
Your agenda — upcoming tasks & reminders
Everyone gets a personal Agenda tile showing what's coming up for you:
- your upcoming assigned tasks (not yet complete, due today or later), and
- your own reminders that haven't fired yet.
They're merged, sorted by date and grouped by day (Today, Tomorrow, then dates). Each task row links straight to the task, and a time shows on the right when a deadline carries one. When nothing is scheduled, the tile simply says so.
See another member's or a department's agenda (administrators)
The Agenda tile has a small dropdown — My agenda by default. Administrators can switch it to any member or a whole department to see their upcoming tasks and reminders right on the dashboard. This is admin-only: a regular staff member never sees the dropdown. Private tasks stay hidden from another member's or a department view (the same rule as the shared calendar), unless the admin is also an assignee on that task.
Dashboard Insights
Dashboard Insights is an optional analytics pack — a set of 10 extra tiles you can add to your
dashboard. It's off to begin with, and you switch it on from its own settings page: go to Setup →
Configuration Center → Dashboard Insights (/admin/tsync_insights).
Once it's on, you can get these tiles:
- Leads per agent
- Estimates per agent
- Proposals per agent
- Staff per department
- New customers per month
- Customers per group
- Projects per customer
- Contracts signed vs unsigned
- Top customers by invoiced — your biggest customers this year by the total you've invoiced them.
- Expenses by category — where this year's spending went.
The two money tiles show amounts in your base currency and are honest about exchange rates: an amount in a currency that has no published rate is left out of the total, and the tile adds a small "FX incomplete" note — it never invents a conversion.
Every tile respects your permissions — you only see a tile if you're allowed to see that kind of data (for example, staff per department is administrators-only). That's why the pack is safe to switch on for everyone: each person only ever sees the tiles they're permitted to see.
The tiles are simple visuals — bar charts, a 12-month trend line and a split bar — and they load instantly, with no external services involved. You can hide individual tiles you don't want, and there's a year selector so you can look back at a previous year's figures.
Choose which tiles you see
The board can hold more tiles than any one person needs. Click the Customize widgets button on the dashboard and you get the full list of tiles available to you, each with a checkbox: tick the ones you want, untick the rest, save. The choice is yours personally — a colleague's board is unaffected — and it is remembered between sessions.
- A tile you're not allowed to see never appears in the list, so you can't switch on something you have no right to.
- Administrators can set a starting selection per role, so a new person begins with a sensible board and can still adjust it afterwards.
- Modules contribute their own tiles to this list — for example My learning (Academy) or QC summary (Quality Control) — so switching a module on doesn't force its tile on everyone.
Rearrange your widgets
The board is fixed by default — nothing moves when you scroll or click, so your layout stays put. To reorganise it, click View Widgetable Area at the top: the dashboard enters arrange mode — the widgets stay visible with a dashed outline and a drag handle appears, so you can drag a tile to a new spot. Click again to leave arrange mode and the board re-locks in place; your arrangement is saved for you personally.
