# BxView — a rich single-page lead view

**BxView** gives you a richer way to open a lead. Instead of the standard pop-up, the lead fills the whole page
as one fast, keyboard-friendly workspace: its stage, its details, its whole history, and a box to add a note or a
task — all in one place.

The feature is **optional** and **off by default** — a stock install keeps the standard lead pop-up until you turn
BX on.

## What you get

- A **status stepper** across the top — click a stage to move the lead through your pipeline in one click.
- A **sticky header** that stays in view as you scroll, with the lead name, a "how hot is it" badge, and quick-action buttons.
- **Editable details on the left** — phone, e-mail, company, address and your custom fields, all editable right where you see them.
- A **timeline on the right** — every call, comment, task and stage change in one feed, newest first, with filter chips.
- A **note/task box** to add a comment or create a task without leaving the page.
- **Lead scoring and auto-assignment** — a new lead can be routed to the right person and scored automatically as it changes.

## Turn it on

1. An administrator activates the module: **Setup → Modules → TSync BX Leads → Activate**. Activation changes nothing
on its own — the BX view simply becomes available.
2. Open the BX settings under **Setup → Leads** (Configurare → Lead-uri). Under *Leads* you'll find three BX pages:
**BX Leads** (these settings), **BX Lead Scoring**, and **BX allocation rules** (BX Reguli alocare).

On the **BX Leads** settings page:

| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| **Use BX as the default lead view** | When on, clicking any lead — in lists, the kanban, the dashboard or widgets — opens the BX page instead of the pop-up. This also applies to opening a lead in a new tab (right-click, middle-click, Ctrl/⌘-click). The lead's **Edit** link still opens the standard view. |
| **Auto-start tasks on card open** | The lead's "Not started" tasks flip to "In progress" (and get a start date) the moment you open its BX card. |
| **Close guard** | *Nothing / Warn / Block* — when you try to leave a card that has no open task and isn't yet won or lost, BX can warn you (or block you) so a lead never sits with no next step. |
| **Work-hours close time** | Default **18:00**. A task you add from the card is pre-set to this time minus 15 minutes (e.g. 18:00 → 17:45). |
| **Per-branch badge colours** | When the Company-Branches layer is active, choose the colour of each branch's badge in the header. |

> You don't have to switch BX on for everyone at once. Turn on *Use BX as the default lead view* only after the team
> has tried it for a day or two — until then, anyone can still open a lead in BX from the **BX view** button on the
> standard lead pop-up.

## A tour of the screen

There are three regions:

- **Top** — the sticky header (lead name, temperature badge, branch, quick actions) with the **status stepper** just below it.
- **Left** — the lead's details in cards: the contract link (if any), "About", contact, address, plus buttons for Fast Contract and the owner.
- **Right** — the box to add a note or a task, and below it the **timeline** of everything that has happened.

It follows your light or dark theme automatically, and it prints cleanly.

## Moving a lead through stages

The **stepper** shows your pipeline's stages as connected steps, with the completed ones coloured in. Click a step to
move the lead to that stage — it **updates on screen right away**, before the server even confirms, so it feels
instant. The stepper only shows the stages of the lead's own pipeline.

Each stage change is written to the timeline and fires your workflow automations, so anything you've set up (a
notification, a follow-up task) runs as usual.

## How hot is a lead? Two signals

BX shows **two independent** "temperature" signals that answer **different** questions. You can rely on either or both.

### Recent activity — the temperature badge

Next to the lead name, a badge tells you **how recently anything happened** on the lead (a call, a note, a stage
change). No configuration needed:

| Badge | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🔥 **Hot** | Activity in the last 48 hours |
| 🌡️ **Warm** | Activity in the last 7 days |
| ❄️ **Cold** | Activity in the last 30 days |
| 👻 **Stale** | No activity for 30+ days |
| ❄️ **Inactive** | No events ever |

### Time stuck in a stage — stage temperature

The second signal measures **how long the lead has sat in its current pipeline stage**. It shows on the leads list
and on the kanban cards, not only in BX:

| Icon | Meaning |
|---|---|
| 🔥 **Hot** | Freshly arrived in the stage, still moving |
| 🟡 **Mid** | A neutral middle band (a pale-yellow circle — deliberately not a sun, so it's never mistaken for the flame) |
| ❄️ **Cold** | Stuck — it has waited in this stage too long |

You set the **time thresholds per stage** yourself under **Setup → Leads** (each stage gets its own "hot up to X" and
"cold after Y"). This signal needs the **Pipeline Engine** active, since it reads the stage history.

> In short: the badge answers *"was there any activity lately?"*, while the stage temperature answers *"is this lead stuck?"*.

## The timeline

The timeline on the right lists everything about the lead, newest first. Each entry shows a coloured icon for its
type (📞 call, 💬 comment, ✓ task, 🚩 stage change), the person who did it as **a coloured initials avatar (always
the same colour for the same person)**, and a relative time like "2h" or "yesterday 14:32" (hover for the exact date).
Missed calls are tinted red; completed tasks are struck through.

**Filter chips** above the feed (All / Calls / Comments / Tasks / Status) narrow it down instantly, without reloading.

**Open tasks are pinned** at the top under a "To do" heading; completed tasks flow into the feed in order.

- **Complete a task in one click** — a still-open task in the timeline has a button to mark it done on the spot, without opening it.
- Calls with a recording show an **inline audio player** so you can listen without leaving the page.

## Adding a note or a task

The box on the right has two tabs: **Comment** and **Task**.

- **Comment** — type and save; it's stored as a note on the lead.
- **Task** — a name, description, due date and assignee; it creates a task linked to the lead.

While you type, a live **0 / 2000** counter turns yellow near the limit; **Save** stays disabled until you've typed
something; **Ctrl+Enter** saves quickly. If you try to navigate away with unsaved text, BX warns you.

### Reminders and attachments

- **Reminders** can be added and **edited in place** (description, date, time) — editing updates the existing reminder instead of creating a duplicate.
- **Attachments** can be **uploaded** and **renamed** right from the card (the file's extension is kept).

### Automatic task behaviour

Depending on the settings above, opening and leaving a card can do a little work for you:

- **On open** — if *Auto-start tasks* is on, the lead's not-started tasks switch to "In progress".
- **When you add a task** — its time is pre-filled to your work-hours close time minus 15 minutes.
- **On leave** — if *Close guard* is set and the lead has no open task and isn't won or lost, BX warns you (or blocks you) so you don't forget the next step.

## Editing details on the page

You don't open a separate form to change a field. Click the ✏️ pencil next to a value, edit it, and click the green ✓
to save (or the red ✗ to cancel).

- **Standard fields** — phone, e-mail, company, website, address, city, region, country, description.
- **Custom fields** are picked up automatically — Region, Initial interest, Rejection reason, Branch, Channel, Campaign.
- **A rule:** if the lead's stage is "Failed transaction" and you edit **Rejection reason**, the field becomes required.

### When the card is complete, you're offered the call evaluation

The moment a card first has a **company**, a **phone number** and an **e-mail** on it, a short prompt appears asking
whether you want to evaluate the call the lead came from. Clicking **Evaluate the call** opens the quality form; beside
it, **Send for evaluation** hands the call to a colleague instead.

Two things worth knowing:

- **The person evaluated is the one who made the call** — not you. If you are a manager tidying up somebody else's
card, the score still goes to the employee who spoke to the customer.
- **The prompt appears once**, on the save that completes the card. Editing an already-complete card does not bring
it back, so it never turns into a nag. You can also dismiss it with the ✕.

It only appears when the lead actually has a call on record and when Quality Control is installed and you are allowed
to evaluate. Otherwise nothing is shown. See [Quality Control](tsync-qc.md).

### The contract-link card

If a lead was imported with a contract link (for example from amoCRM), a **Contract** card is pinned at the top of the
left column, showing each contract's number as a clickable link that downloads its PDF. The link can be **edited or
deleted** — but only by an admin, the lead's assignee, or someone granted the "edit/delete contract link" permission.

### Issue a contract from the lead

When **Fast Contract** is enabled and you have permission, the left column shows an **Emit contract** button. It opens
the same guided contract dialog you'd get in the standard lead view — right inside the BX page — so you can create an
internal contract without leaving the lead. See [Fast Contract](../fast-contract.md).

## Changing the owner

To reassign a lead, pick a staff member in the owner selector in the left column and click **Reassign**. BX records
the change in the activity journal and notifies the new owner automatically.

If you set or clear the lead's **branch** from the header, that change is also written to the lead's **Activity**
journal, so it shows on the native Activity tab and in the BX timeline as "Branch changed: old → new". (Needs the
Company-Branches layer.)

## Scoring and auto-assignment

BX can score and route leads for you:

- **Lead scoring** — each lead gets a score from 0 to 100, built from things like a filled-in company, phone and
e-mail, recent activity and so on. You decide how much each factor is worth on the **BX Lead Scoring** page (the
"weights"). The score is recalculated automatically whenever the lead changes.
- **Auto-assignment** — on the **BX allocation rules** page you define priority-ordered rules (for example, "leads
from this city → this person"). When a new lead arrives, the first matching rule assigns it. A lead that already has
  an owner is left alone.

## Keyboard shortcuts

| Shortcut | Where | Action |
|---|---|---|
| **Ctrl/⌘ + K** | On a lead | Open the quick-action palette |
| **↑ ↓** | Palette open | Move between actions |
| **Enter** | Palette open | Run the selected action |
| **Esc** | Palette / drawer open | Close it |
| **Esc** | On the lead (not typing) | Back to the leads list |
| **← →** | Stepper focused | Move between stages |
| **Ctrl/⌘ + Enter** | In the note box | Save |

## On a phone

On narrow screens the details column tucks into a drawer you open with the **☰ Details** button (top-right); close it
with ✕, a tap outside, or Esc. The header buttons shrink to icons, and the stepper scrolls sideways.

## Printing a lead

Press **Ctrl+P** for a clean, single-column A4 printout: the header relaxes, the drawer/buttons/box are hidden, cards
avoid breaking across pages, and links print in plain black.

## Troubleshooting

| Problem | Likely cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Clicking a lead opens the old pop-up | *Use BX as the default lead view* is off | Setup → Leads → BX Leads → tick the option |
| Ctrl/⌘+K does nothing | A very old browser | Update the browser, or just use the buttons |
| An inline edit looks broken on mobile | Stale cached styles | Hard-refresh (Ctrl+F5) |
| The timeline is empty on an active lead | Call-history source not active | Ask an admin to make sure the PBX module is active |

## For administrators (technical reference)

> Companion modules: an administrator installs and activates the **PBX** and **Workflow Automation** modules normally,
> so calls and workflow triggers appear here — no manual file copying is needed.

Permissions are registered under `tsync_bx_leads` (view; view/manage score weights; view/manage assignment rules;
edit/delete contract link). The default-view option is stored as `tsync_bx_leads_default_view`.
